Yoga Nidra with Stephen Marks

Meaning “yogic sleep”, yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed in a lying down posture and we turn the awareness inward by listening to a set of instructions; a guided meditation.
In this class you will enjoy a blissful 1 hour yoga nidra meditation with Stephen Marks, who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. With an interest in the philosophy of yoga he is focussed on relaxation techniques and the mind and body connection.
He is qualified with the Yoga Nidra network and describes yoga nidra is the single most important contribution to yoga in the 21st century.
Stephen is also a sports enthusiast, having trained in martial arts and endurance events. Through extensive yoga and pilates he has on a number of occasions worked himself back from injury to peak fitness.
